04/03 Weeeee.... Time for an update... ;o) First, Borus Joined the clan, welcome!. Second, I've made some updates in the Match section and made a new guestbook main. We are now in the work of getting the COTS Q2 Team into place, and start making some serious matches. Pee_Air and Ond joined our Quake2 division. We need more Gib hungry Q2 players, so start sending your join requests!. I just finished the COTS Q2 skins, a Male and a Female skin. You can get em here.. in this ZIP. It turned out to be a rather big project to get these skins ready. Have a look Here to get a grasp of the size of work. AND!, my new Quake 2 Enhancement v1.0 is out to the public, featuring new sounds and graphics. //GurkoZ_COTS
11/02 Hrmmm well.. Time for an News update, don't you think? ;o) Well, where shall i start.. hmmm.. As for the members,... Baron_Bane and FunKK went back to normal life...(I got the Lab results back the other day, and the results are clear,.. Not a single trace of COTSius CULTius), Sorry guys. Trooper, FragStar and EnloX on the other hand, saw the light (darkness) and joined the Cult. The lab results are not yet back, but the prospects are good indeed. ;o) Murvel_COTS changed his name to oZZe_COTS. Asmo_COTS works alot. The COTS stockmarket is going strong... now at 45% the intresst rate exchange, US dollar. heh My new Homepage is up an running (kicking)... make ya way there... http://www.gurkoz.com. There you'll find all the stuff, spawned by me... Pictures, sketches, logos,.. you name it.. Also, the place to get my new "Quake 2 sound addon/fix". //GurkoZ_COTS
11/01 Just played our first Quake2 match. So go to the match section to read about it. The whole Cots community salutes Discoduck for his outstanding Q2 server ;o)
24/12 I just would like to make one thing clear here.. För tillfället när det dräller in och ut members, så har jag svårt att uppdatera members sidan hela tiden... först på grund av jag har alltid tusen andra saker på g, och det är något tidskrävande att lägga in allt... Så alla ni som är nu, får ju så klart ha kvar all info och så, men för dom nya som kommer till, så kommer jag inte att lägga upp så överdrivet mycket info... Bara då om jag har mycket med tid över,... eller om personen i fråga har bevisats ball o cool, och passar bra in i klanen. Nu runt jul och nyår, så står det ganska still med matcher och så, dom flesta har nog fullt upp med annat. Men om någon kan fixa ihop någon trevlig match, så ska vi nog klara av att dra en eller två ;o) (orkade inte dra detta på engelska, men ni fattar nog vad det står.. heh) Goh Wheel påer..... //GurkoZ_COTS

13/10 Just finished all the work on the new members page, featuring all the information you ever wanted to know about us (and more..)... So make your way to the Chryochambers of the cult. And we are currently looking for some more experienced/Cool quake players to join the cult. So if you think this is your chance and your up to the task, let us know....
9/10 Yesterday some members of Pray dropped in at #cots, One thing lead to another and a fight was on. Needless to say, we whooped their ass. Did a fine effort on E3M2, but we all sucked on DM2 this time,.. strangest thing,..

4/10 We'r back.... live and kicking,... Just played our first match in some time, and made shish keduck of Quack Attack.... this shows that COTS still can make ya eat the cold steel of our rockets.... so, be prepared, we'r on the virge of gibborama...
21/9 Not much going on in COTS at the moment, but gibs will start to fly in the near future. Other than this, i just finished my work on a new page at www.planetquake.com/buglist/ with a nice man called RadPipe.... It's a buglist, and the place to go to report bugs regarding all new upcomming 3D games. And a while after the page went online, mr RadPipe was a guest on the NetShow QuakeCast and talked a bit about the page, and said some nice things about me ;o).. check it out Here ,.. 2/8 Yet another update, Made some enhancements to the Graphics section, added new sections like, Clan Art, skins and Various gfx from GurkoZ Productions ;o) // GurkoZ_COTS
28/7 This site now has gone under some big graphical changes. With the new design of the page with 6 frames, results in diffrent browser output, looks cool in Netscape, but sux with Internet Explorer (who cares?). So the only solution to this is to make two versions of the page. Rather that, than making ONE version that looks crap, only because shitty IE should work... Right now only the Netscape page is up and running, the OTHER is the old version, and my not work 100%. But hey!, IE users, don't go ape shit, i'll get ya the OTHER as well. //GurkoZ_COTS

2/7 We have just come back from our 4:th LAN, this time gathering approx. 30 gibbers from various Swedish Quake-Clans.
15/6 Cult Of The Shadows new skin ready. It's GurkoZ who has done an excellent job. The new skin is sent to id for registration. Ofcourse we have cots_a.pcx available for download from here too.

12/5 I have just laid the last touch to Cokeman´s new site, The Swedish Quake Player´s Database. Here you can find the e-mail adresses, UIN:s, homepages and lots more from different Swedish Quake Players. It´s a growing site so please submit your name and your info so that it may grow further.
28/4 We now have a server page up, where you can download files, monitor the servers and book the server for your Clan-Matches. All you have to do is enter the ShadowZone....
22/4 Released the first version of COTS LPB-page . The page was constructed by Cokeman_COTS with some help from Rhino. Please observe that it is still under construction and will be soo for some time still. On the page you can find information about how to join the LPB-division, news from the LPB-division and much more...
21/4 As you may have noticed our Fan-Page has moved.. The new adress is http://www.bahnhof.se/~dempa. Here you can view pictures of the clanmembers that has never been released before and much more. And if you wan´t to join the fan-club the e-mail adress to the founder of the COTS Fan-Page is dempa@bahnhof.se.
20/4 Cult Of The Shadow has now got a server for anyone to play on.. It will only be up and working weekends and weekdays after 19.00. The sever is a Pentium Pro 200 Mhz with 64 MB RAM with a 10Mbit internet connection. We might close down the server if we have a clan-match to improve the ping. The ip-adress is 130.240.17.221, port 26000. If you wan´t to check who is on the server, then go to our server page and click on the link.
14/4 Per was raised to the rank of Captain. Rhino_COTS decided that it was time to start an LPB-division of COTS and therefore accepted LPB-player Cokeman_COTS as new member at the rank of Soldier and as leader of the new Cult Of The Shadow LPB-division. We will soon have a separate part of the homepage dedicated to this division. If you are an experienced LPB-player who has played Quake for a while and would like to join the Clan just mail Cokeman_COTS, and he´ll get back to you.....

9/2 17:39 I (Asmodean_COTS) have been editing for about three hours now, and I'm still not finished. I've fixed the "Get now" icons in the startpage now. I do want to make more layout changes, but that will have to wait.
8/2 (later..) We moved the page (as you may have noticed). This however was not as fun as we thought. All the slashes in our HTML codes were wrong, so Asmo has been working like hell. (I think the server is case sensitive too, so I might have to rename all the files...
